Serenity Venting - Subscribing to Updates
Serenity’s News feature allows servers to opt-in to receive official updates directly in a channel of their choice — no need to join our support server just to stay informed.
We understand how frustrating it can be to join extra servers just to catch important announcements. That’s why we’ve made it easy: simply set a news channel, and we’ll deliver feature updates, bug fixes, and key announcements straight to you.
Step 1: Invoke the Setup Command
To enable Serenity News in your server, use the following command in any text channel that the bot has access too:
Required Permission: You must have Administrator permissions to use this command.
This will bring up your current Serenity Configuration:
Click on the "Serenity News" button and click "Subscribe to Updates".
Step 2: Select a Channel
Once you have subscribed to updates, you will be prompted to choose a channel that you would like to use as your dedicated news channel.
A dropdown menu will appear.
Select the channel you would like to use.
How Serenity News Works:
It's simple, every time an announcement is created regarding Serenity's features, development progress or issues, the channel you chose will be sent that announcement.

To unsubscribe, you'll just need to use the /settings command to manage and configure the Serenity News feature.
